This is about baby STEPS... and I'm referring to starting on my craft room. I usually do things in leaps and bounds, but I'm having shoulder surgery and have been ordered to take it easy (what the hell is THAT?), so we're moving slooooooow for the first few stages of the update.

So anyway, I went and bought the paint on Saturday, and ended up with Valspar's "Aqua Ocean" from Lowe's.
I'm hoping it's not too dark, but I think with all of the cabinets being white, the counters being light, and the light carpet in the room, it'll tone it down a bit!
I'm also close to ordering these cabinets from Lowe's as well, it's just going to take some driving around town to get all of the pieces that I need. Ugh.
But here's the BEST part... we're also thinking of doing stuff like this:
The kitties will LOVE it!! And it'll be so much fun!
Anyway, that's all for now... will hopefully get some painting done this week before surgery, but if not, Chuck said he'd do it... we'll see, he hates painting!
